Meet Our Formulator
Kayla Fioravanti has been a leading expert in the natural cosmetics industry as a cosmetic formulator and certified aromatherapist for over 2 decades years. She has always had a deep and abiding passion for aromatherapy and natural personal care products. In 1998, Kayla co-founded Essential Wholesale (Now Essential+Labs) – one of the first all natural cosmetics/ingredients companies.
After selling Essential Wholesale, Kayla started her own publishing company and became an award winning author of books like The Art, Science and Business of Aromatherapy, The Unspoken Truth About Essential Oils, DIY Kitchen Chemistry and Puffy & Blue.
Kayla’s passion for aromatherapy and formulating never wavered, which is why on December 1st of 2017 – the day her noncompete ended – Kayla co-founded Ology Essential with her daughter-in-law.
Kayla loves to combine her passion for aromatherapy, herbal medicine, homeopathy and cosmetic ingredients to create powerful and synergistic formulas. Next to formulating is her passion for small business. She loves supporting small beauty businesses, which is why it is important to us to keep low minimums – so that aspiring beauty entrepreneurs don’t have to break the bank to get into this industry.
