Essential Muscle Lotion

Aroma Directions:

This product was designed to be sold as is without added essential oils or fragrance oils as it is already scented with active ingredients. 

Packaging Directions: 

Due to the preservative system bottles with pumps or treatment pumps or into airless packaging are optimal, however jars are an acceptable alternative. CBD is sensitive to light and air. Your packaging choices should ensure that any CBD product is not exposed to light and air such as amber, green, blue, and UV coated packaging for light and well sealed packaging. 

Filling Directions:

Always clean and sanitize your utensils with hot soapy water and rinse well. You can wipe excess water off or allow it to fully air dry. When you are ready to use any utensils for filling make sure to, spray them with 70% alcohol and wipe off with lint-free paper rolls. Don’t forget to clean and sanitize your working area as well. We recommend having written SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that include cleaning, sanitizing, as well as the use of hairnets, gloves, and lab coats or aprons when handling products. 

There are a few methods that are effective to fill your product without the use of a filling machine. 

• Use a zip lock bag or pastry bag to squeeze the contents into your container. 
• Use a sanitized reusable condiment container. Simply snip the tip of the container to work best with the viscosity of each product. 
• Purchase a gallon pump to add to the top of the ½ gallon, 1 gallon, or 5 gallon container and pump directly into packaging.

Warning Statements:

Not for internal consumption. Pregnant or lactating people consult a doctor prior to use. Discontinue if irritation occurs. This product contains capsicum. Use caution when washing up any utensils used for packaging as hot water can disperse the capsicum into the air and cause coughing. Also always wash your hands after handling anything that contains capsicum to ensure that you don’t transfer it to any mucus membrane areas or eyes.

CBD content in a finished product is expressed in milligrams per milliliter in pourable products and milligrams per milligram in solid products. To determine the CBD content of your finished product divide the milligram content of the bulk base by the number of containers you fill it into. For example if you purchased a bulk base that has 1000 mg of CBD and filled it into ten 120 mL containers each of your finished products would contain 100 mg of CBD. On your label you would write 100 mg/120 mL.
