Ology Essentials’ Chief Formulator, Kayla Fioravanti, has been in the natural cosmetics industry since 1998, so naturally, quality ingredients are top priority. Every single ingredient is mindfully chosen.

When formulating, our goal is to develop the cleanest delivery system for the active ingredients whether the product is for the face, body, or the bath. We choose ingredients that lean heavily on aromatherapy, herbal and mushroom medicine, peptides, and vitamins. We love to create synergy by combining all of the different modalities. The last step is building the aroma with essential oils!

Ology Essentials was founded by Kayla Fioravanti and her son and daughter-in-law, Keegan and Haleigh Fioravanti in Nashville, TN. Notice anything? We are a family business! And it all started when Kayla’s non-compete ended.

Kayla Fioravanti has been a leading expert in the natural cosmetics industry as a cosmetic formulator for over 2 decades. She has always had a deep and abiding passion for aromatherapy and natural personal care products. Kayla co-founded Essential Wholesale (Now Essential+Labs) – one of the first all natural cosmetics/ingredients companies – which was listed as an INC. Magazine 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America for three years in a row. Essential Wholesale Started out $50 in her kitchen and grew to a multimillion dollar company. At this time, Kayla was formulating for large cosmetic brands and small businesses.

After selling Essential Wholesale, Kayla started her own publishing company and became an award winning author of books like The Art, Science and Business of Aromatherapy, The Unspoken Truth About Essential Oils, DIY Kitchen Chemistry and Puffy & Blue.

Kayla’s passion for aromatherapy and formulating never wavered, which is why on December 1st of 2017 – the day her noncompete ended – Kayla co-founded Ology Essential with her son and daughter-in-law.
