Scenting Directions:
This product is available pre-scented and unscented. The unscented product was designed to allow between 0.5-1% essential oil or fragrance oils.
Filling Directions:
Always clean and sanitize your utensils with hot soapy water and rinse well. You can wipe excess water off or allow it to fully air dry. When you are ready to use any utensils for filling make sure to, spray them with 70% alcohol and wipe off with lint-free paper rolls. Don’t forget to clean and sanitize your working area as well. We recommend having written SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that include cleaning, sanitizing, as well as the use of hairnets, gloves, and lab coats or aprons when handling products.
There are a few methods that are effective to fill your product without the use of a filling machine.
- Use a heat proof measuring pitcher with a good spout to hand pour into containers.
- Use a Confectionary Stainless Steel Confectionery Funnel similar to this one to dispense melt and pour into prepared containers.
- For lip balm tubes you can either hand pour into each tube individually or use a lip balm tray with a spatula similar to this one.
Product Directions:
Apply a pea size amount or less to fingertips and massage into the skin in an upward motion including your decolletage and entire face.
